Been way too long!

So as I arrive this morning (my day off actually) and begin to read scripture I come face to face with the words from the Apostle Paul in his 2nd letter to the Corinthians, in chapter 6, "As God??s co-workers we urge you not to receive God??s grace in vain. 2 For he says, ??In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.? I tell you, now is the time of God??s favor, now is the day of salvation." This strikes me because I wonder how often we simply toss aside God's message when it comes to us? How often do we not like what it asks, or decide that it really can't mean what it says? We need to learn to listen and apply His every word to our lives no matter how hard the message, or how uncomfortable it makes us! Had a gentleman yesterday in Life Groups tell us there is one thing God cannot do....Lie. His Word, all of it not just the parts we like, but ALL of it is truth! If we begin to live with this knowledge each day what does that change for you? Who can it affect? Think about it.
